We review the data every day just to make sure it is correct and up to date. Actual numbers from several trustworthy sources, including Warcraft Logs and Simulationcraft, confirm the data shown here.
You can judge for yourself by examining the list above. Statistically speaking, the Top 3 Classes here would be a safe pick when you are aiming to achieve maximum healing efficiency.
But do not be frustrated if your class or spec is not high-ranking at this moment — you can still excel with it if you know what you are doing. We are well aware that dated information is of no use.Holy Paladin - Shadowlands: Quick Look
And this is why we thoroughly check these stats every day just to ensure that they are authentic and we always tweak them whenever something happens to change. At the top of this page, you can see the dates of both events. Actually both. And even more. Our method includes running thousands of simulations with Simulationcraft an open-source tool that allows us to estimate the healing output in various circumstances and using resources like Raidbots and Bloodmallet to investigate specific gear combinations.
Then we compare our results with the data gathered from genuine in-game logs from each class' Top Players for this purpose, we check world leaderboards from sources including Raider.
Through integrating both quantitative and mathematical evidence, we seek to minimize deviation associated with human factors for example, poorly performing players while retaining a tight link to realistic conditions - because many characteristics need to be addressed if we want to come up with reliable results.
Last but not least, we also track player communities like those of Reddit, Method, Icy Veins, Wowhead and of course the official Blizzard World of Warcraft Forums to always be aware of popular sentiment so that we can determine whether our current data is true.
Not always. It all depends. Healer Rankings. Holy Paladin. Discipline Priest.
Holy Priest. Restoration Druid. Restoration Shaman. Mistweaver Monk. Most people think the most important raid role is the tank. However the healer is truly the most valuable role.
WoW BfA Best Healers (Ranked)
Without the healer, the team is sure to fall. Think about it, what does it matter your DPS output if the pre boss mobs kill you? In this list we are going to look at the 6 different healing specs available. They will be ranked from worst to best according to strengths, weaknesses, and overall utility to the group.
Overall, holy priests are capable of large amounts of heals. They are great at hitting the HPS heals per second requirements. However they do rank very low on this list due to some pretty unforgiving shortcomings.
Like the holy priest, discipline spec ranks pretty low on our list. In the higher dungeons, discipline has an overall struggle with throughput.
This spec does do pretty well in raids over all, but is kind of lacking in 5 mans. Shaman is one of those good all around classes to play. Though a bit lower on the HPS than other classes, shamans are great for tank and group heals. Paladin in general is an amazing class to play. They have the benefit of plate armor and several mobility boosters.
Though they are of high value in raids and dungeons, Paladins are one of the tougher classes to master. The druid has always been known as one of the best healers in the game, even since Vanilla. They are very well rounded and versatile. To round out our list, we have the monk. The max heals is lower than many of the other classes, but their utility and overall perks makes up for that. Overall, they have great immunities, mobility boosters, and they wear chain mail.

What kind of healer do you want to be?With its release last week, you may be wondering what the best healer class in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is stacking up to be. And while there is no definitive best or worst in WoW, some classes are performing better than others in some key areas that will help to decide what is most viable currently.
Holy Priests are great sustained healers that provide strong AoE healing. On top of this, they feature some great abilities for single target and tank healing.
Most of their stronger spells require standing still to cast which means they are a fairly immobile class. Holy Priests are more than likely the least survivable class to play as. They are extremely squishy and offer little in the way of defenses.
In their current state, they are likely to be downed by raid mechanics if even a single mistake is made. This puts them at a major disadvantage to every other healing class.
Burst Healing Score: 3. Restoration Shamans are an incredibly flexible class that can put up both a reasonable amount of healing as well as damage during downtime. They feature a number of utility abilities of all kinds that will make them invaluable in many types of encounters. On top of this, they feature some of the strongest saving-throw heals the game has to offer and can be the difference between a wipe and finishing a fight.
Restoration Shamans are not great when it comes to sustained single target healing, or healing widespread groups. They also are unable to take much punishment, lowering their survivability overall. Burst Healing Score: 4. Mistweaver Monks have seen a number of changes going into Battle for Azeroth that have made them a more viable healing option overall.
They feature a diverse talent tree that is highly customizable to fit a variety of encounters. They are efficient at providing both single target and AoE healing. On top of this they are able to provide healing through damage if Fistweaving is selected, though the additional difficulty of this does not often see better results than taking on a more traditional healing role within groups.
While Mistweaver Monks are not the greatest burst healers, they provide exceptional sustained healing throughout fights. Their survivability is boosted, however, due to their high mobility and a variety of utility abilities. Discipline Priests are unique in that they generate a lot of their healing while contributing to the overall damage output of a raid group.
While putting out an adequate amount of damage, they also feature the strongest burst healing in the game. On top of this, they also feature standard healing and damage mitigation spells that come in handy in any group. Discipline Priests can be difficult to master because of their multi-use nature. Some players may have trouble finding a balance between dealing damage and providing efficient healing. On top of this, Priests are a fairly squishy class in general and can be downed rather quickly.
Restoration Druids are extremely useful, yet niche healers. In Battle for Azeroth they have been nerfed quite a bit, but still exceed at high burst healing when needed during a fight due to having a number of powerful cooldowns. They are also considerably tankier than other healers and can put up with a fair amount of punishment before being downed. Restoration Druids fall a bit flat in overall healing potential otherwise, with average to below average sustained heals.
They also require a bit more concentration as using your cooldowns too early or too late can be detrimental. Holy Paladins are one of the most sought after healers, and for good reason. While they are not quite as strong as they have been in past expansions, they offer a unique range of abilities that will give them an edge even when their healing is on the lower end of the spectrum.
They do feature strong sustained single target healing and overall damage mitigation with a few strong AoE abilities. Holy Paladins are lacking in mobility, lowering their survivability slightly. They also do not have raid wide healing cooldowns that are competitive with other classes.Sadly I cannot include the picture of the Shadowlands itself as I have not reach that level of trust.
Also healer and tank specs. Uses mail armor. Primary stat is intellect. Level squish postponed. No world revamp. Raid tier sets are not returning, but there will be class-specific challenge sets. But also certain villains. The Old Gods are not dead. The Black Empire will rise again very soon. This is what Azshara saw when she died. Bolvar brings us there. Alliance has inadvertently helped the war against the Old Gods in the Shadowlands.
They will be reunited with all of the casualties almost. Bwonsamdi is working for Hakkar the Soulflayer, who seeks power for himself, also by consuming souls.
Old Gods: The void exploited the defeat of Argus to gain access to the Shadowlands. Huge rivers of souls run through each zone. Bwonsamdi has been roped into working for Hakkar the Soulflayer.
We help him overthrow Hakkar and reclaim his title as the loa of death. Everything is spilling in and out of rifts. Source of void incursions on Dragon Isles and Emerald Dream. Main city and sanctuary is here. Lots of questlines and two dungeons. Ethereals have a big presence here. There will likely be 9 dungeons total at launch, 5 in Shadowlands and 4 on Dragon Isles. No names for them yet. We will help rebuild the black dragonflight. Storylines for each dragon aspect. We have seen Tinkerers several time in this expac.
This is the most likely time they can get implemented. This is still more then likly false. Not dragon island,i hate them, worse then everything ,they bring back fallen heroes because they lack of creating new ones. That replied to wrong person it should be Arale. It is more likely that she know that it is under void corruption and tried to actively root it out, so she can rest in peace once she dies for good.
I very much sincerely doubt Blizzard is going to add a new hero class related to Allied Races. All WoW leaks ever released more than a week before a big anouncement like Blizzcon have been proved false and only had a few guesses right, but even a broken clock is right twice a day. Not saying this leak is true, but looking back in time lot of things on this and earlier expansion have been leaked somewhat right in some point.
Some times pretty accuraly, sometimes leaked stuff has been spilled over several expansions. This makes it always interesting to read and speculate with the leaks, whether they are true or not or if some parts of them are true. But back in when World of Warcraft Classic first launched, there were legitimate reasons why this view was subjective.
Each character race had a unique set of abilities, and mixing them with the right class option meant a slightly stronger final product. Accustomed to cooler climes and embracing nature, they represent both spiritual and economical ways of life. Kicking things off nice and simple, Humans typically make the best Alliance Warriors. Their twin weapon specialization bonuses mean Warriors with either swords or maces in their hands will benefit from a naturally higher weapon skill cap.
As mentioned in our example, this means more potential damage output, leading to higher Rage generation over time. Without strong natural heath regeneration, the Human Warrior can make us of their Human Spirit trait to regen HP just that little bit faster. They have ways to negate powerful CC effects.
Warriors need to stay on their toes, so being able to quell these game-changing crowd-control abilities can help Gnome Warriors avoid a cheap defeat. And their increased Engineering skill — a profession Warrior tanks can make good use of — is a nice added bonus.
Just like the Warrior, the Paladin is destined to be a Human for the same few reasons: Higher base regen and a duo of increased weapon specializations. Paladins and Warriors work in similar ways.
WoW Healer Rankings / Tier List - BfA 8.3
Their increased base dodge chance is one of the best things the Feral Druid could ask for. Bear tanks can avoid some extra damage, and Cat Druids can play with their prey just that little bit longer.
Priests, known for their powerful heals and strong shadow spells, can greatly benefit from the extra Spirit being a Human affords them. That slightly increased regen works in favor of both damage and healing disciplines.
The Dwarf actually has a Priest-specific racial ability — Fear Ward. You might run out of mana faster, but at least you can stop your tank from running into more mobs. Gnomes come with extra base Intellect, giving them a clear advantage over other races when it comes to casting spells.
A good Rogue needs to stay nimble, and touch of the Gnome racial skill can get you back into the action. The whole focus on shooting thine enemy as a Hunter means only the dwarf can make real sense here.
Similar to how humans make a near-perfect Warrior, having access to the Gun Specialization bonus makes the dwarf an excellent Hunter.
A lot of early Hunter kills revolve favor melee strikes to finish off your target. Horde races sometimes struggle to synergize well with particular classes.
Just like how the Human reigns supreme with most Alliance classes, the Troll stands above the rest of the Horde with a single powerful ability — Berserker. Then the Undead come in to take the PvP crown. This page will exist as a compendium of all Resto Druid changes in the upcoming Shadowlands expansion. This page will be updated as we learn more. Overall the Resto Druid changes are big positives so far and our new talent tree in particular is looking great. Now we have more.
With mastery unchanged our dungeon outlook remains as good as it has been in Legion and BFA at this early juncture. Overgrowth will see about as much play as Stonebark did unless it sees further changes.
A mana cost reduction would be a great start. The Swiftmend change gives Soul of the Forest a large increase in power and it should compete well on that tier so long as New-Swiftmend is worth casting. Baking Stonebark into Ironbark is a great move since it effectively removes a dud talent. The cooldown increase is no doubt to curb our dungeon strengths. You can also play around with the wowhead talent calculator here.
Germination and Overgrowth are now the only talents in the tree with no clear viable niches. Consider these informational only for now. These are based on the stats we had at the beginning of BFA which is likely to follow in Shadowlands. These are going to be tuned up until the day the expansion goes live and probably for weeks after that so we can only speculate about which might be best.
They should also eventually have skill trees attached to them that give a variety of passive abilities. Signature Ability: Summon Steward. You get your own personal butler that can give you a potion that heals and removes Curse, Diseases, Poisons and Bleeds. Druid Ability: Kindred Spirits. As Resto we get to form a bond with an ally that lasts for an hour. Every minute we can empower the bond for 10 seconds.
Think of it as an on-use Beacon of Light. Signature Ability: Fleshcraft. It also has a long two minute cooldown. Not good in its current iteration. Druid Ability: Adaptive Swarm. Bounces between allies and enemies on expiration. Signature Ability: Soulshape. A movement speed buff with a blink attached? You can also collect different forms to turn into including a moth, wolfhawk, unicorn and much more. Druid Ability: Convoke the Spirits. Channel a flurry of Druid abilities over a 4 second cast.
Signature Ability: Door of Shadows. This appears to be a blink with a 1. Just a less badass version of the Night Fae version. Druid Ability : Ravenous Frenzy. Most people think the most important raid role is the tank.
