Phone remains dark after many hours. Starts out showing the battery is charging and a red light flashing on the front of phone, but after several hours phone still isn't charged. The bottom line on the Doro and the is that they are cheap phones. These companies rush stuff to the market to make a profit.
My old LG. Flip phone gave me 15 years of talk and text and even web search. Never once did I changed battery or have to charge it more than 30minutes at a time. Do l need to buy a new battery? Or phone? I had a similar phone with m Doro. Since my DORO was still under warranty, she sent out a new battery right away. I put in the new battery, and the Doro has worked fine since then.
Something else which I learned from my son, who has an I Phone - all of the new stuff which the phones can do nowadays also makes the batteries work harder. The SAME thing is true of the battery in your car. If you have a newer model of car - you will notice your battery needing more special care more often because all of the stuff inside the car which the car now does ALSO makes the battery work harder.
Have you tried re-installing the battery to the phone?
Extend battery life
Try it and charge for like 10 minutes then try turning it on again. Also, have you tried charging on a different charging cable, USB port, or wall socket? The problem may be on one of those and not in your phone.

Learn More. The Doro PhoneEasy is a phone designed to be supremely easy to use. Although the entire phone is made of plastic, it feels well-made. The smooth action of the hinge, the thickness of the plastic and the general heft of the PhoneEasy all make it feel like a quality mobile. The Doro PhoneEasy comes in a couple of different finishes — the two-tone white and red we have here and dark grey.
A white button surround gives the phone a higher-contrast look that may be useful for those without the sharpest eyes.
And we think it looks better than the grey version anyway. In the box you get a charge dock as well as the phone itself. Unlike some earlier Doro phones, the PhoneEasy uses a microUSB charge socket, both on the phone itself and the charge dock. This phone has a removable battery that you can easily replace, unlike some of the most popular smartphones out there. Without any pushing of emails to the phone, the battery can last for the best part of a week without a charge. There are two main sets of buttons on the Doro PhoneEasy The white ones form the normal numerical pad, and are both highly contoured and easy to press thanks to a light but crisp action.
The back ones are more interesting. As well as navigating through the interface and taking calls, they offer direct buttons for your two favourite contacts and shortcuts to the camera and SMS messaging parts of the phone. However, there is a degree of setup involved. All the number keypad buttons can also be long-pressed to act as additional speed dials.
And every front button on the PhoneEasy lights-up in use, making it easy to use in darker rooms. We do find the main high-contrast select buttons a tiny bit stiff for weaker hands, but in many cases the volume control rocker on the side can be used interchangeably. And that has the same light touch as the number pad. Another issue with the PhoneEasy is that it offers no call screening. This review is from a real person who provided valid contact information and hasn't been caught misusing, spamming or abusing our website.

Your smartphone is actually a small computer — and computers require more power.
But my new smartphone needs charging every day! On the other hand, all you could do with a feature phone was make calls and text people. With a smartphone you can send and receive email, search the Internet, watch movies, listen to music, radio programmes and audio books, read newspapers, take photos and immediately share them with friends and family, order goods and services — and much more.
